Flip Flop - 1024 combinations

Flip Flop - 1024 combinations

This Stagecast sims was built a while back using Cocoa. Stagecast with its 'anim all at once' ability allows for much smoother animation.

Each flip flop gate alternatly send the ball to the left or right. The number of times each gate is passed on each line follows the attributes of 'Pascals Triangle'.

After 1024 passes (2 to the power 8 -the number of gates on the last row), the sim will have returned to its initial position with the ball dropped back into its starting position.
